Look. I’m just going to say this. And I’m honestly sorry if it seems insensitive. But I was in a pretty rigorous therapy program. It was heavy handed and took up a lot of my time and energy. But with all the knowledge I gained over two years of behavior therapy- I honestly can’t think of a single reason for someone to be involved in three separate therapy programs. I have major doubts in the validity of that. He is being manipulative and trying to convey empathy out of us. Do not be fooled. He is not a victim. He did this all to himself. I can ensure you he is not sitting there day in and day out working on his mental health. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t in any form of therapy at all. Please don’t support this abuser. He doesn’t deserve it.
