It’s so weird how the human body works while recovering from surgery because 4 days post op I was screaming crying in pain, couldn’t eat, couldn’t drink, could barely breathe, and couldn’t sleep. Then I finally passed out from crying and when I woke up an hour later, I had no pain, could breathe fine, could eat solids, could drink just fine, and was able to go back to sleep with only minimal discomfort. Now I am day 7 post op and the only issues I have are the swelling and now an infection I got yesterday. Literally none of my pain is related to the actual surgery
